Ryan Self Portrait.jpg

I grew up in the Midwest, but now call Oregon home. I received a BFA in Commercial Art with an emphasis in Illustration from the University of Central Missouri and have extensive experience illustrating and designing for the consumer packaging industry. I have created editorial cartoons and cover designs for various publications including The Kansas City Pitch, The Saint Louis Riverfront Times, The Denver Westword, the Syracuse Newtimes and have exhibited at several fine art at gallery exhibitions, including the Kansas City Open Studios and most recently at the annual Beaverton Arts Mix Exhibition. In my spare time I like to enjoy the beauty of the Pacific Northwest by riding my bicycle, hiking, camping and sketching the amazing natural beauty I am surrounded by each day.
